Royal Dobermans Application

Hello, potential new puppy owner! This puppy inquiry form is a way for you to introduce yourself to us. Providing information about yourself allows us to gain some insight into the homes and new puppy owners we are selecting for our puppies. Our top priority is ensuring that our puppies have a happy and fulfilling life in a home where they will be loved unconditionally. We strive to place our puppies in loving and responsible homes, and this inquiry form helps us in that process. We hope you agree that the welfare of the animals is our top priority when it comes to puppy placement. If for any reason you are unable to keep your Doberman in the future, our policy is that our puppies must come back to us so we can assist in finding them a new loving home.

We highly recommend obedience training for your young Doberman as it not only helps to build confidence in the puppy, but also in you as the handler and all members of your family. Obedience training will teach your pup proper manners and behavior both at home and in public. It is important to note that we strongly discourage "attack" training for several reasons, with liability being the primary concern. If you are seeking a protection-only dog, there are breeders who specialize in that training. However, we believe in having a working companion by your side who is loyal, devoted, and loving towards you and your family without aggression. Protection instincts come naturally to Dobermans. Remember, your Doberman craves a job and thrives on pleasing you. By guiding them and teaching them what you expect, you will be amazed by their capabilities.

Our Dobermans are never to be tied up or left in indoor or outdoor kennels without frequent human interaction. We define "frequent" as multiple times throughout the day.

(Dobermans are very intelligent and respond to positive gentle training. They will not respond well to heavy-handed trainging methods)
